It's You're NOT Your

You're is a contraction. It is the combination of the words you and are. YOUR is a possesive pronoun. It is used to show POSSESSION.

This is the correct way to contract you and are:

Y-O-U-'-R-E

It's very important that you do not forget to type the apostrophe: ' or the E.

If you do you will write Y-O-U-R when you mean to write Y-O-U-'-R-E. This is incorrect and will cause those reading your work to question your intelligence.

Examples of Correct Usage:

You're so pretty. NOT Your so pretty.
You're a very smart person. NOT Your a very smart person.
You're right about that! NOT Your right about that.
